Alabama ace Connor Prielipp will not pitch this weekend vs. Arkansas. DVH mentioned that the stud lefty hadn't pitched the last three weeks during Monday's presser, but was unsure why or if he'd be available this weekend. I did some searching tonight and found that Alabama coach Brad Bohannon has already said he will be out "at least a couple more weeks" with what they're calling a "medical condition."
That is huge news because that dude is GOOD. He was a true freshman last year and started four games. He also started on opening weekend this year. In those five games, he's 4-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 26 innings.
