I went to Hutch JC's football website to see if they had any info on the QB Kyle Kempt that was supposed to visit the Hogs this past weekend. I didn't find anything on him, not even listed on the roster, meaning a possible/probable redshirt.
However, I did find a blast from the past name on the roster. WR Gary Cross from Fordyce, who I'm pretty sure took an official visit a couple of years ago. He's listed as a RS Fr. who has 26 rec. (#3 on team) for 487 yards (#2) and 7 TD's (#1) in 9 games played this year. Their top WR is currently a soph. committed to Texas Tech and his stats aren't that much better at 43 rec./571 yds./2 TD. Just an FYI of sorts. I hope we can get an update on this guy from one of our guys. Seems like he was looked at as a safety, but those stats scream athleticism at the least.
They also have 2 SEC transfer RB's - Tyren Jones from Alabama and Treyvon Paulk from Tennessee.
