...what some of the experts mean when they say that high quality college basketball today is more guard-oriented than it is centered around big men. I really like this BKB team because it is not a 1- or 2-man show. We have 4 guys right now who are regularly making strong contributions, 3 guards (Durham, Hannahs, & Bell) and 1 center (Kingsley). Then 1 or 2 more may contribute significantly on any given night.
Miss. State really tried to shut down Kingsley, so Hannahs & Bell lit them up for 51 pts., while Durham had 12 assists. Most other nights Kingsley goes wild.
Just a fun team right now. Wow! Don't get me wrong. I know we're gonna lose a bunch of games, but we are so much better than I thought we could be.
