Lot of push by ESPN for whatever reason to tout this league all year, and Oklahoma State with a sub .500 league record and 18-13 overall (and 5 of 6 losses to end the season) gets in, Texas gets in. Iowa State goes down to a 14 seed (underseeded certainly) UAB.
Kentucky routed Kansas worse than about any team it played in the SEC with the exception of Auburn. TCU was competitive in that league with some sub-level DI players and a coach that ran from the SEC and Baton Rouge as fast as he could.
Like I said in the headline, it's early and only one Big 12 team is done, but Texas early on is getting stomped by Butler (which is a shell of those Butler teams that made the final) and Baylor has struggled somewhat with Georgia State, which won a really bad league this year.
Any thoughts?
Oh, SEC is 3-0 in the postseason so far.
