ITT, I own just how wrong I was ...

* I thought we were 8-4 at worst, 10-2 at best ... but I liked our chances to win 10 if BA could win 1-2 games for us with his arm late in 1-2 of those 4 brutal SEC road games = fail on my part.

* I thought Enos would get our offense to excel at our bread-and-butter -- running the ball -- which meant more consistency in the O-line and in the play-calling to make sure we played to our strengths = fail on my part.

* I thought our WRs would not be a weakness ... gonna claim a wash on this one, because the WR/TEs have actually played well, but they are dropping like flies so my projection won't last long = incomplete.

* I thought our D-line would be as good if not better than 2014 because I perceived it to be deeper, with quality depth at that = fail on my part.

* I thought our LBs would be the weakness of the team, and so far I have been right about that ... still, I thought Robb Smith would find a way for this unit not to leak like a sieve. I mean, these guys are rarely in position to make the tackle, and when they do, they seem to always go for a ride on the back of the ball-carrier for 4-5 more yards = fail on my part.

* I thought our DBs would be the best we've had on campus since 2006 ... so far, they've been aligned so as not to be beaten deep, but they are giving up way too much cushion underneath, the spread teams are completing passes in the wide-open-for-days soft spots, then our DB's are whiffing in open-field tackle situations = fail on my part.

* I wondered if our special teams would finally turn a corner, and suggested it couldn't be worse than last year, but I think they are worse than last year = fail on my part.

* I suggested, more than once, that CBB was the best coach on campus, and possibly our best football coach since JFB = colossal fail on my part.

After watching us compete down to the final wire against Top 5 teams last year in Bama and MSU, as well as holding lengthy leads against TAMU and Mizzou, as well as completely dismantling Top 15 teams in OM and LSU, as well as destroying a weak but hated Texas team in the bowl game, it appeared to me we were arriving as a program in ways that even CBP could not achieve, because we were tough, physical, and hungry to break through.

I know we've suffered some critical injuries, but we have fallen hard and fast (from a 7-6 team, geez!) in one off-season. I never saw this coming.
