I wish

I wish that I knew more about the game to understand why it seems our offensive line isn't playing anything like they did last year. A few on here have been helpful at explaining some of that, and I am glad they are. I'm simply at a loss and don't understand.

I wish I knew why Cheney was such a bad play caller but how Enos is so far worse. We are passing the ball so much more - which we all wanted - but it doesn't seem to be doing much. That's not one I think any of us saw coming.

I wish I had such incredible insight to see how impactful it would be to lose three major guys on D and a amazing guy on O and how much that would impact us at the all encompassing position called Depth.

I wish I knew what Robb Smith was trying to do yesterday but wasn't able to. Was it those three we lost? Was it not having the combination to disrupt what they did? Totally lost here...

I wish I knew why in the world so many guys got hurt yesterday. Good Lord how did guys get banged up so bad? I guess Depth is going to see some action this year.

I wish I knew what Jojo and D-Reed need to be stud players and not get suspended and I would do almost anything I could to help those guys because we need them. So. Incredibly. Bad.

I wish I knew what was in Alex Collins' head and help him out some. I think he's been bit by the "what if" bug and he doesn't want to have happen to him what happemed to J-Will. He's going to be a player in the NFL and he wants to because he loves the game but he also wants to help his family financially. Who blames him?

I wish I could give some high-fives to all the coaches and let them know I still think they're the best ones for the job and most of the fan base agrees with me on that. I most certainly don't think they wanted that yesterday but I certainly want them doing what they're doing tomorrow.

I wish I could cook a big ole awesome meal for the players and just encourage them. Theyre all still a bunch of kids, away from home, playing football for a fanatical fan base that they want to win for but certainly don't want to lose for. And when they do, I think they could use a good meal with folks that can help them get past it.

I wish that our fan base and state could get past games like this when they happen more quickly than they do. It's not good for the soul to go to bed upset or mad and that goes for things other than your spouse or loved ones.

I wish folks could read this post and think about some of these things and come up with some of what they would wish for and maybe we can make some of these things happen, help those who need a little, and do better in ways that helps everyone around us. But that's the biggest wish I've had in this whole post.

I wish that everyone on here will have a great night and day tomorrow at a job that you either enjoy or let's you make enough to enjoy what it is you enjoy. After all, isn't it all about enjoying more in life than it is being upset about things we don't?

Have a great night and a great start to your week.
