he's a confident fella when it comes to recruiting.
As Danny mentioned in another thread...Nutt would have offered 2 or 3 more times instate guys last year than CBB did...and would have probably already offered 7-8 instate guys this year. That makes it easier on a coach, as far as numbers...but it's a risk...as far as talent.
CBB seems to have the attitude that he's gonna go out and find the best 20-25 he can...wherever...and if he doesn't feel any instate guys fit on the 20-25...so be it.
It's a bold move...one he'll either live or die by. I would love to see us be able to have more Arkansas guys on the team...but in the end, I want to win championships...and if CBB feels we only have 3-5 instate guys each year that fit...it's his decision to make.
(sure wish we had a few more elite instate players)
