... AFC championship about to kickoff shortly, and the question turned to who's got more at stake in today's game in terms of legacy, Brady or Manning ... the easy answer for me is Peyton Manning, because playoff success has been one of his biggest shortcomings, plus he's well behind Brady in both playoff success and head-to-head matchups, plus this might be his last year and thus his last chance to build on his resume for GOAT QB debate.
Manning has the 5 league MVPs, holds a lot of records, and he's been to 3 Super Bowls, but he's only won 1, plus Brady has owned him the head-to-head matchups at 11-5 ... BUT, the 2 QBs are 2-2 head-to-head in the playoffs ... so, if Manning can win today, get to his 4th SB and win it, he could own a postseason edge over Brady (head-to-head) and go out similar to how Elway did.
BTW, my personal Top 5 QBs of all-time are Montana, Brady, Elway, Manning, and Unitas ... I think the Pats win today, but pulling for the Broncos ... if Brady wins one more SB, it's going to be hard to argue against him as the GOAT QB.
