Just curious because I saw a guy on Twitter told Damarea Crockett, basically, that he should choose the Yale offer no matter who else offered or how much he loved football.
Got me to thinking, why don't more kids do that? I understand the love of the game and wanting to compete against the best, but your chances at having a higher-quality life go way up when you go to an Ivy League school or a place like Stanford, Duke, Vandy, etc.
Wondering how y'all feel about this. I'm sure there will be some "I'd choose the Hogs no matter what!" and that's fine, but just curious as to why more kids (like the lineman from PA a few years ago who chose an Ivy League school over a football offer from the Hogs) don't take that route when it's offered.
