Junction City RB (La Tech signee) injured his right knee tonight in the 2nd Quarter of their semifinal game in Pangburn diving for a loose ball on the sideline. He was helped off the court and never returned. He spent the rest of the night icing it and sitting in a chair in the corridor watching. Juncition City defeated Buffalo Island Central 56-53 and will face England Saturday at Summit Arena in Hot Springs for the 2A Championship. He seems like a great kid and hopefully it is just a sprain or bruise and he can be ready Saturday.
