After a lackluster year in the trenches, the Arkansas offensive line will need to do some rebuilding, and Sam Pittman and his staff will look to do that partially in the junior college ranks.
The coaching staff hosted Jaekwon Bouldin, an offensive lineman from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, on an official visit for Arkansas' 44-20 win over Florida International.
Bouldin said the visit went well and he was impressed with the family atmosphere at Arkansas.
"It was a very well experience," Bouldin said. "Great people and there really is a family, like they say it's a family. I really liked the visit very much."
That family atmosphere is something Bouldin said he’s looking for in his next stop.
"Good facilities and a great fit for me,” Bouldin said. “Where it's all about family."
As for the product on the field, Bouldin said he liked what he saw out of Arkansas on Saturday.
"I was impressed with how they played," Bouldin said. "I already called out they put up 40 points."
There's SEC competition for Bouldin's services, as he has visits set up to Auburn and Mississippi State as well as Purdue before he makes his decision. Arkansas was his first visit.
Bouldin said he plans to announce his decision after taking all of his visits. He will enroll in January and join his new team for spring practice.
