Kneeling to run the clock out at halftime...

I have waited to rant about this, as there are many things that we can rant about as fans from this loss.

Something that haven't done in a long time was kneel on the ball to run the clock out at halftime especially when we are losing. It was 3rd and 15 and ~30 seconds left on the clock (if my memory is correct) and we were down 9-7 at that point. We were called for a holding penalty and rather than try to hand the ball off to Alex (Safe play to see if he could break one) or throw the ball down field to see if we could get a quick field goal we simply took the deficit into the locker room. WHY WAS THIS AN OPTION IN THE COACHES MINDS??

There were so many disappointing things about this game (penalties, missed scoring opportunities, etc.) , but the most disappointing is that after waiting with much anticipation for this season it is all but over after the second game because our team wasn't ready to play a hard tough football game. That is CBB's job and he get's paid a lot of money to not let this happen.

I knew that at some point in time we would need BA to win a game for us on the final drive, I NEVER thought it would be against Toledo.

The fan in me hopes they can turn it around, however history shows that when we lose a game like this (Citadel/ULM) the season is a massive disappointment. We literally went from being a dark horse to make some noise this year, to just another disappointing year. You can't lose to Toledo and then do anything in the SEC, the refs and the league will not allow it to happen because if we were to wake up and play lights out the rest of the year, you can bet the house that we will have a string of bad calls that will cost us games that otherwise would not happen. Year after year this has been the case and now we are right back in the worst possible situation which is now playing against tougher competition and the SEC referees which is something that historically speaking we have never overcome.

Disappointment is just not a strong enough word to use, but it is the only one I have.
