So the prospect of buying my first home is on the horizon and I'm seeking sage wisdom from the edge. My fiancé and I are still doing the travel nurse thing till we get married in October. Then we'll look to settle down for 3 years at least in one spot (maybe more) while she does NP school. We want to move back to Denver and buy but the market there is crazy. I think the average home price is somewhere a little over 400K. We love the western US and want to stay there. Anybody have recs one western cities or advice for a first time home buyer? All info is appreciate as always.
