While the A&M loss hurts, I still think we can and will win 8-9 regular season games. What worries me next year is the potential dropoff from this team due to a huge loss of talent. Not to mention the holes we have from a lack of recruiting success in certain areas. I'm not giving up on this year, but the roster turnover is an area of concern. 7 will return for the O and roughly 4-5 on defense if I'm not mistaken. We return a very good QB in AA, a couple of good RB's, a lot of young but unproven TE talent, and the whole OL besides Skip. We've got some young talent at WR but it's unproven with so many good SR's on the roster. Defensively we lose basically our whole DL aside from Sosa. There's a couple of young talents but again unproven. We will be very young at LB. DB wise we lose a few but we do have some young guys who've looked good at times. The WR's don't worry me that much, I think we can be ok there. What worries me is the OL (again), but mainly DL and LB. We're getting gutted on the DL and LB wise we'll need to guys to really step up there. We lose a lot of offensive playmakers on O and the best part of our defense.
