sport, or so it seems to me.
I know in football the odd shaped ball takes strange bounces and when injuries happen and to whom will always be crucial. In basketball a free throw can somehow roll out or the wrong guy can foul out but baseball has so man, many little variables that you just need luck on top of being good.
A tiny pebble can redirect a ball or the wind takes a popup out of play. Just so many things that seem to go beyond your ability to control the situation.
Hey if you hit a key batter, that may seem like bad luck but you were just wild......I am talking about things that players seem to have little control over.
BTW how did the Razorbacks become a magnet for left handed pitchers here at the end of the year?
