I hate every single thing he stands for as a person. My good friend Derrick James went to the Olympic trials with FM. He had a good career as a middleweight. 35-12 I think was his final record. Now he's training a kid from Dallas named Errol Spence Jr who's 18-0, a contender on the welterweight scene who Freddie Roach called "the future of boxing". High praise. He's sparred with Floyd on his last 2 fights. Anyway I asked Derrick how he saw the fight. His take: manny gets labeled as a brawler but is not a great inside puncher. He telegraphs his right and does a jump step before throwing it. His defense is awful. He says it is close for the first 6 rounds and manny might even be winning. But FM is the very best ever at changing his game in the fight and will pick manny apart the last 6 rounds of the fight and win a unanimous decision.
