Fifth-year senior defensive back Micahh Smith tweeted tonight that he had successful surgery. Not sure what he had surgery on, but he's been banged up throughout the season. I know he wasn't dressed out vs. Ole Miss, but traveled and played one defensive snaps at A&M, but then wasn't dressed out again on Saturday.
Assuming it's a season-ending deal, there are now 11 scholarship players the Hogs won't have the rest of the season, by my count...
~5 opt outs (Nwanna, Nash, McClellion, Curtis, Jacobs)
~1 transfer (Spivey)
~3 season-ending injuries (Oglesby, K. Jackson, Draper, Smith)
~1 required sit out as a transfer (Crawford)
That leaves Arkansas with 74 scholarship players, assuming there isn't anyone else we don't know about.
