- The month-long dead period comes to an end at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, so things should start heating up again at that time. Bret Bielema and staff have spent the last few days evaluating 2018 prospects. A few new offers have already been extended and I'd expect more in the coming days.
---------------
- As of today, Arkansas cornerback commitment Korey Hernandez isn't sure if it'll be Thursday or Friday when he and his family arrives for his official visit.
As reported last week, he'll drive to Fayetteville for the visit, drive home, and then fly back to Fayetteville next Monday to enroll.
Hernandez, who helped give his team a state championship this season, sent his final senior stats:
Defense: 47 tackles, 5 TFL, 3 INT, 1 Sack, 3 FF, 1 FR, 1 DEF TD
Offense: 23 catches, 321 yards, 4 TDs
Special Teams: 482 return yards, 3 TDs
---------------
- 2018 defensive end/tight end Tate Wildeman of Parker (Colo.) Legend High said the Razorbacks reached out to him for the first time this weekend.
Wildeman, 6-5, 225, said the Hogs and others reached out immediately after he participated in the Army All-American Combine. He is receiving other interest from Colorado, Iowa, Washington, Colorado State, Wyoming and UCONN.
Wildeman tells me he has "very high" interest in visiting the Razorbacks.
---------------
After speaking with Brad Stewart's mother again on Sunday, the Hogs are still in line to host her four-star son later this month.
Stewart said last week that he wants to use his five visits on Florida, Arkansas, USC, Arizona State and Virginia Tech.

9:00 a.m. update:
- Defensive back Kamren Curl's father tells me they're expecting Bret Bielema and Paul Rhoads in their home Thursday evening.
10:40 a.m. update:
Arkansas is now set to receive Curl's final visit. He has switched from the 20th to the 27th weekend. Baylor on the 13th, Ole Miss on the 20th. Coach Curl tells me Coach B wanted the last visit.
