Here are my thoughts on Town.

1) Town transfered because USC is changing to a system more fit for a dual threat QB which just so happens to be what his Freshman competition specialized in.
2) Follow me close on this....why would a kid who has had personal well-known quality QB coaches teaching him for years need USC to "change" his throwing motion?
3) Why would they also need to work on his feet and stance as well?
4) If you were a highly regarded QB who has had all this training and was told you would be playing in a pro style offense and you get there and they change the offense and start messing with your mechanics, the same mechanics your family has spent money for years on perfecting, what would you do?
5) If you realize that you are not in a situation that fits what you do, do you transfer before your freshman season starts and give yourself 4 years to play 4 or do you stick it out for a year, redshirt, transfer and thus sit out an additional year causing you to have 3 years to play 3?

My thoughts on him deciding to leave USC is, after you get past all the obvious bs out there, that he found himself in a different situation than he thought or was led to believe it was and got out of there before it hurt him.

As for Coach Bielema taking him, look at our situation at QB.

1) Brandon is gone after this season
2) While Austin has proven himself a capable backup, I don't think anyone believes he is your answer for the position after BA is gone.
3) Rafe has not shown anything that would lead you to believe he could be that guy. Heck he can't even beat Austin out.
4) While Ty is talented and could be the future of the position, he has some obvious weaknesses that question how good he could eventually be.
5) Cole Kelly has yet to even play his Senior year of high school.

So, here you are. You are CBB and you are presented with the opportunity to bring in another freshman QB who was very highly regarded, more regarded than all the QBs you currently have on campus. You find out after sifting through some bad press and rumors that you're dealing with a kid that simply ended up in a place that was the wrong fit. You talk to the kid and his family and realize he is a fit for you and you ok the transfer. All Bielema did was bring in another QB to help solidify the position once BA is gone. He doesn't need to worry about any other QBs feelings or thoughts. He, like a lot of us, simply wants the best guy possible for the job. We now have another possible option for a QB of the future. Nothing more and nothing less. Some of you guys need to get over yourselves. If Ty or any of the other QBs feelings are hurt by CBB bringing in more competition then they need to go ahead and transfer because they are not the answer for the future.
