Over the last year or so, we've added hundreds of new members and thousands of new registered users, and I want to first thank the new and old members for their support of this site and making it what it is. None of this is possible without your continued support, and this post is to protect the interest of our membership. But I'd like to address this to new members who have signed up with us just recently in the last couple of months, since we've had so many this past month. I just want to give you a rundown of what this board is about.
Also, if any of our longterm members would like to add something to this in terms of what you think about this board and what it is to you to help explain it to some of our new members, I would appreciate it.
After reading this, please take some time and read the forum rules of conduct, which is linked at the bottom of this post. This forum is different than most you've been to. This is a clean board, and we do not deal in wild or malicious rumors, name calling, personal attacks, flame-baiting or trashy posts. If you don't have a good question, a well-though out post, something funny, fun or enjoyable or some good information worth sharing, we discourage you from making the post. Kinda like Jim Rome says, "Have a take, don't suck." There are plenty of places to go for the trash, and there is good information out there if you don't mind getting out your Weedeater to uncover the flowers. This board is for GOOD and GREAT information, and the longer you guys stick with this site the more you will find that out, and the more enjoyable your experience as a Razorback fan will be. Many of you repeatedly inquire about Houston Nutt's phone records and an alleged affair, which to me is gettiung absurd. I genuinely feel this man has nothing to hide. Let me tell you, this falls under the category of malicious rumors as far as I'm concerned. Not because I believe some will be sued over their part in this, but just because I think it is absurd to discuss it any longer. And people have been sued on internet message boards for libel. The stuff has been out for MONTHS floating in the gutter, and it's just a bunch of garbage started by a group of people who want nothing more than HDN to be fired no matter what the cost to the Arkansas football program. We will not allow posts of this nature any longer. I have allowed a few, and I don't even think this new 48-page document is that bad...I actually think if you read the lawyer's letter it answers a ton of questions in favor of Nutt and really ruins these guys' case...but it's old and has been hammered down. This new stuff is just putting it all together organized. I hate to send some away, but if you want to discuss that stuff then post it somewhere else. I don't mean to rain on anybody's parade. This board is a fun, fun place to be without the wild and malicious stuff, and I think our membership would agree with me. Again, if anyone has something to add, please do so. Thanks, Trey Biddy
