Not as upset about losing as i thought i'd be but still stings because it was winnable. Hate it for Harris and Madden(esp. Harris) the way it ended because i believe that they gave it all they had for the skill set that they were blessed with. Glad they both got to experience and NCAA tourney victory and also glad we have better skilled players coming in. I agree with Hpharri that we played too fast tonight for some of the skill guys that we have. Handling the ball isn't a strength for this team and i am surprised Mike has hidden that as well as he has.
I also stated a early last week that this team wouldn't miss Qualls much. I fell victim to the thing i hate most and lived too much in the moment. Really impressed with the way he put this team on his shoulders and carried us even though it drives me bat shit crazy that he doesn't get back on defense fast enough. Hope he comes back.
To those i've bickered with all year, I'm glad the season is over because i am emotionally exhausted. I really tried not to be too overbearing with it and i'll continue to work on that because i believe we all love the Hogs but i'm far from perfect.
Really believe we build on our success and it will be sustainable. Love Coach Mike Anderson and all of the kids that put it on the line for us.
