When I was in the Army and assigned to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (1977), a buddy and I visited one of their public beaches. The men all wore bathing suits like every other man in the world who visits beaches, but every woman there was covered head to toe with those burkhas that hid everything, even when fully immersed in the water...no kidding. To this day I don’t understand how that can be enjoyable.

Saudi Arabia is something like 3 spots from the bottom on the humans rights list. I know it was recently re-ranked, so I can't remember the exact spot.
