Another weekend of high school football has come and gone, and most of Arkansas' commits in the classes of 2024, 2025 and 2026 saw action.
One massive matchup took place on the west coast, as 2026 four-star defensive back Tay Lockett and the St. John Bosco Braves shut out powerhouse Mater Dei — the same high school that produced former Alabama and now-Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young — 28-0. It's the first time Mater Dei has been shut out since 2011.
Inside the state, Fayetteville stayed atop the 7A West rankings with a 42-21 win over Bentonville and three-star wide receiver Arkansas commit CJ Brown.
Just across the border in Texas, three-star athlete Ahkhari Johnson — who is committed to play defensive back at Arkansas but plays quarterback as well for Pleasant Grove — led his Hawks to a 63-28 win over Gilmer. In that game, he scored six total touchdowns — four through the air and two on the ground.
In Alabama, four-star quarterback commit KJ Jackson scored seven touchdowns en route to a blowout of previously-unbeaten Trinity to lock up the top spot in the Region.
There was plenty more high school football over the weekend. Here's the notable stats for some recruits from last weekend, as well as final scores for all of the games Arkansas commits played.
