So I've always been a big fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan. My wife and I just celebrated out 7th anniversary and she told me she had a surprise coming but it would be late. Lo and behold, today I get a package and it is a guitar strap made by Christian Brooks, a leather worker out of Dallas. Christian has made straps for SRV, Eric Clapton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and countless others. Late in Stevie's career before his death, he had a leather strap with his initials on it. Well, my wife spent the money and had a replica made by Christian with my initials in it. The craftsmanship is amazing, and I'm beyond shocked/excited about this.
