Welcome to the offseason Diamond Hog fans!

Arkansas is expected to lose multiple everyday starters in the field and in the pitching staff, so Dave Van Horn and company will have a lot of work to do in the transfer portal.

June 25th:

  • Fresno State OF Rocco Peppi is a HOG

June 24th:


June 23rd:

  • Oregon State RHP Aiden Jimenez visited Arkansas
  • Campbell RHP Cole Peschl tells me "he would love to play in Fayetteville."

June 20th:

  • TCU transfer OF Logan Maxwell announced his commitment to Arkansas
  • Division II NPOY Hayden Jatczak tells me that an Arkansas coach reached out to him yesterday. Hasn't had a phone call yet, but is expecting one. Absolutely destroyed the baseball and flashed some two-way potential. Big body at 6'4", 235 lbs. The No. 167 overall player in the portal per 64analytics.

June 19th:

  • Keep an eye on GA State transfer Maximus Martin. Top 100 prospect out of HS, transferred from Rutgers last season. OF/INF that hit .313 this season.
  • Later in the afternoon, Maximus Martin committed to Arkansas.

  • Milwaukee OF Carson Hansen has committed to Arkansas

June 15th:
  • I can confirm that Arkansas has contacted Houston freshman OF transfer Ace Reese. Slashed .278/.395/.506 with a .901 OPS. Had 8 2B, 4 3B, 7 HR and 34 RBI. 29 BB, 37 K.
  • USC Upstate OF Koby Kropf tells me he's talked to Arkansas and is considering the Razorbacks. Plans on taking a visit, but nothing official. Big-time power bat. Slashed .352/.431/.704 with a 1.135 OPS. had 20 HR and 21 2B, plus 67 RBI.
