As you guys heard yesterday from Bret Bielema, Josh Liddell is expected to move back to the starting role at free safety, but I just want to point out for discussion sake that I seriously doubt it has anything to do with Santos Ramirez and more to do with Saturday's opponent.
In the spring, they started Ramirez out at cornerback. Then he moved to safety. He has also worked as the dollar (dime) as of a few weeks ago with the A&M game.
They have always said they're going to use Ramirez based on the matchups, so I think you can expect to see Santos play a major role in some capacity Saturday against Auburn, but it'd probably be as a nickel, corner or dollar more than at safety.
Just putting that out there for the sake of discussion.
