First off I'll begin by saying that our finish in recruiting was awful. Like you don't know that. That being said, looking at the 20 we did sign here are some positives.
Signed a very athletic, big QB who has a mallet type arm and frame.
Signed the number 1 running back in the state of texas(have we ever done that). Whaley will be a baller, probably as a true freshmen. Add Hammonds who I LOVE and this is hitting 2 big time playmakers. Woulda liked on more, but still got two!
Hayden Johnson we got after pretty early and he we got him and kept the others off of him. Really like this addition. Glad we got a fullback we wanted.
WR coulda been great. Struck out late. Only got 2. I think Jordan jones will be a very good one(had Bama offer). We forget about jones, but he has tons of potential.
Gunter turned down both home state schools to come play here. Apparently our coaches really like him.
Signed a beastly d line class. Agim is my favorite defensive recruit ever. He is on another level than what we are used to having. Freak. Guidry was a monster pull for us out of Louisiana. Had offers everywhere including lsu but this was one we held onto! Capps will be a beast whether we put him on O or D.
We signed we very athletic linebackers. Lucky we held on to Harris. Also have randy Ramsey walking on. Morgan kid walking on. Jackson moving back to linebacker. Graham redshirted. Roesler, greenlaw, Ellis, Eugene, hackett, Harris, Jackson, graham, Ramsey, different Harris, lafrance, walker, and jean-baptiste. 13 guys? Lol you can't tell at least 4-5 of those guys are pretty damn good.
D back was like oline. We missed and missed hard. But outside of that it's not a bad class.
We got probably 16-17 guys I really like. I was hoping for 23-24 guys I really liked.
