David Simon of The Shield and The Wire fame, created a new 6 part miniseries based on a book about a public housing case in Yonkers, NY in the 1980's. The ratings for the show were low, but the reviews were very good. The finale ran last night and it was incredible. If you are a fan of The Wire, I can't imagine that you wouldn't enjoy this. The first episode was a little slow but it picked up with every episode. The final montage scene was as well done as anything I can recall watching on television. Simon is the master at how powerful he can make a scene with very little dialogue. There were a couple of scenes in this show that were almost on the level of seeing Bubbles in rehab or Duquan becoming and addict as far as how moving they were. If you have HBOGo I'd highly recommend watching Show Me a Hero.
