2007 Scion Tc 4 cylinder
While doing routine maintenance, was changing the spark plugs, I noticed that there was oil on both ends of 3 of the 4 the spark plugs. My wife says her check engine light has been on "for a while." She doesn't know how long a "while" is. Probably a couple of months. I haven't driven it since the last time I changed the oil about 3 months ago so somewhere in that time frame.
There is no smoke from exhaust when accelerating, the car doesn't misfire, it does idle fairly rough though.
Which gaskets are bad? Can I do this myself? And how much is it going to cost?
Any advice/expertise any of you have would be helpful. Thanks so much.
