Wanna say this before emotions of a 4th qtr failure throw me off the bridge
When CBB was Hired, I an old LSU Grad and season ticket holder but lifetime Hawg, had seen many football games. I did not think it was a good Hire, because of style and lack of Home Grown D-1 prospects. However, I am always on board with any Hawg coach, player, or student in any UA event.
Three years later, I think he is a good hire.
But to win consistently in the SEC you have to have SEC depth. Arkansas has never had SEC depth. I Know believe CBB can build it.
But its gonna take time.
CBB will have to also learn and adjust. IMO, He has underestimated the need for speed and the talent needed to be consistant. But I love the new balance on offense, I love the understanding to build Depth at both Lines. I believe he is willing to adjust based on his hire of Enos.
We simply are not that good on D. Talent and possibly scheme. But I believe he is the guy to lead us to consistency. 23 years in the SEC, we need do something different then tossing coaches based on three year expectations. Again, We were not that good on D last year. Just caught LSU and Ole Miss at perfect times and Texas is just bad.
We are just not rebuilt enough to absorb all of these injuries, and lack of talent on some Defensive positions.
Now, gonna go listen to the rest of the game in the car, near the bridge.
