PB took the money and ran and is now an integral part of the Rockets organization after a few years of gaining experience over seas. I like this comparison for Michale Qualls better than Thurman in that like PB, Qualls has elite athleticism. Scotty wasn't an explosive enough athlete to play in the NBA. Qualls is.
Beverly's name has come up a few times today as the sports talking heads discuss the NBA MVP vote and Harden playing long stretches without Howard and now Beverly. PB has become a very good player, and the consensus when he left here was that it was a tragic mistake. Turned out to be the best decision he ever made.
