Yesterday's presser - Bielema said Austin Allen is the No. 1 QB, and the rest are "all kind of equal."

There were many on here that said there would be a fair and open QB battle, and others said that he would go with seniority.

So does the statement, before practice even starts, that we already have a No. 1 QB mean that there was an actual QB battle at all?

I think AA will get 50-60% of the reps with the first team throughout the spring, and the rest will have to split the other reps, not giving them a fair chance to show their abilities.

What's everyone else's definition of an open, fair QB battle?
