1. We are not a great team but after seeing these guys in person you come away thinking 'solid team....with TEAM being the key word'
You see basketball teams like this......play as a team and play hard..and you can compete and win.
2. We should be loose in Omaha....the pressure of the MLB draft should be over and we are just happy to be in Nebraska. Just have fun boys.....the other SEC schools are the ones with pressure on them because they are expected to win the NC.
3. The SEC prepared us for anything we would encounter in the regionals. When Miss St, Georgia and Tenn beat us late this year.....they proved every SEC school has quality players.
4. Wonder what the economic impact there was in Fayetteville over the weekend. BTW did the UofA benefit financially?
5. VanHorn telling that Tyler Spoon story, about his redshirt year, about made me cry.
6.Looking at the map, with three spots still to be decided,: Illinois would/could the the farthest team north and Cal-Fullerton West. I am kind of hoping it is an All SEC-ACC World Series.
....If that happens I guess A&M would be the far West team while Virginia or Louisville the most northern school.
We are not too far from being the West and North rep.
7. Will Arkansas ever need to add seats in Fayetteville? Temps maybe...
8. Never heard and TV or radio folks talk about our new indoor baseball facility
9. Who will have the most fans in Omaha? Won't we be the closest school to Omaha? Will we be the only ones to have played in Omaha once already this year?
10. Hog fans need to remember how many breaks we got in getting to Omaha (most teams can say this) the next time they want to say "Oh why us, why does Arkansas always get the bad breaks?" We had to be a worthy team to take advantage of our breaks so it was not luck.....but I am enjoying the 'good fortune' we have had this post season.
.......P.S. I hope Bielema and Anderson are happy and even bragging on the OmaHogs to the people they are recruiting
