Got an update from Rivals and they don't plan on updating 2021 rankings or creating 2022 rankings until we know for sure there's a season and at that point, they plan to update them mid-way through.
Some 2022s have received ratings if their tape has come up to the top of the list but I think in general they're waiting for more tape and a chance to see kids in person since first ratings usually come in during the spring when we have camps and the analysts can get out to off-season and preseason practices.
After seeing how many responded to 247 doing multiple updates to rankings despite there being no new info out there, Rivals wants to wait until there's some substantial basis for an update.
