I stayed off last night and I wanted to share some things before it got wild again today. Should be shorter than before.

Who knew Rawleigh was going to do so well? I'd say 50% of the board didn't think Rawleigh could play like that. And he did.

Who knew Drew was going to get 150 yards receiving last night and be a key WR for us?

So many folks were down on the Hogs before last night and still are but look at TCU. They gave up over 50 against TT. We gave up less. They won by sheer luck but sometimes that's what you get.

Our defense overall was so much better. Sure, we had some lapses and our young guys didn't make some plays they needed. But they got better in ways they weren't in the first half.

We all hate losing in OT. We've had a lot of OT games we've lost. Under several coaches.

But I think there is no difference in how those games were lost compared to last night. It's experience. Experience that kids build game after game after game.

We don't know - and I haven't watched or read any postgame press yet - if BA checked out of some calls based on what he saw that convinced him to throw at the end or not. What I've found is that no matter what, if we lose, some would say "horrible call" if it was a run or pass. Because we hate to lose.

But I think when BA makes a pass, or does something exceptional there at the end of a game, we will not just all be happy but be glad that he did what we all know he's capable of doing. I saw where Bret said he's (BA) felt the weight of all the injuries on his shoulders. Man, for the most part, the kid has made up ALOT for what we've lost. One kid can only do so much if others don't step up.

In the meantime, look at the stats of the TCU game and take some solace that #3 did worse than we did and maybe that means it's not as bad as we tend to always make it seem.
