Wow, nothing on the board yet? Interest seems to be thru the roof, huh?!

Anyways, I went and enjoyed. Here are some thoughts below. If you're looking for "how good are we", you'll be disappointed. I'd like to see them play someone else first.

Here's the box score. Not surprisingly, Bell and Kingsley led the way with 27 a piece. After those two, Watkins impressed me the most with Hannahs and Miles closely behind.

Bell: Has improved his floor game. He's more confident. Is his handle good enough to be a consistent, primary scoring option for us?

Kingsley: As I stated in the practice report, looks really good moving around. He also stuck those 15-18 foot jumpers tonight, too. I'm seeing sparks here that are exciting. We'll see how he shows against someone else.

Watkins: Improved handle and quickness. He has a nice hesitation and burst move with the ball. Still no outside jumper taken, and like last year, that could be the big minimizer. We'll see; he's improved his overall game. He's a SEC level player.

Hannahs: Showed that scoring burst. He forced too much tonight, too. He's gonna have to pick and choose wisely on penetration.

Miles: For the second straight day, he was really, really active. Lot of loose ball touches, boards and blocks.

Whitt: Shot was a little off tonight, but he did a good job running the white team, and did a little bit of everything.

Thompson: Had a good night. Showed some aggressiveness toward the rim, which is growth for him. Knocked down a few jumpers and passed the ball well, which is his forte.

Durham: Man, he can be really good. But, again, he showed those wild tendencies some tonight and turned the ball over. Fine line. You want him to be aggressive and create, but you also have to consider that he's proned to turn it over some.

Kouassi: Had a couple of nice moments. Had a couple of really bad ones, too.

Jenkins: Non-existent. Read that he took an elbow to the head, which was apparently a factor.

First exhibition game is Thursday.
