10:00 am UPDATE:

4-star LB Alston Orji said "I'm really liking Arkansas right now. I like what they're doing and I'm getting real close with Coach Hargreaves and Coach Bielema." Alston visited for the Florida game last year and is trying to get back to Fayetteville this spring. He said it's easy to see that Arkansas' players love Bielema and that stands out to him. He's looking for a school with a great business program and a coach who will stress academics. Michigan, ND and UCLA are other schools he hopes to see soon.

His younger brother, 2019 S/OLB Anfernee Orji, said Arkansas stands out because they were first to offer. He also wants a good business program and is impressed that "Walmart basically came from Arkansas." Vandy, TCU and A&M have come on strong since the Hogs offered.

2018 LB Byron Hobbs will announce his commitment on his birthday, June 16. He said his dad is still hoping he picks Arkansas but will be happy with any choice he makes. He wanted to visit Arkansas for a game this fall but the Hogs told him to come up this spring so they could give him his own day by himself. "Arkansas is still rebuilding and I want to be a part of that," Hobbs said. I guess we shall see on June 16.

2019 TE Grayson Boomer was offered after visiting the Hogs yesterday, and he's pretty impressed by Arkansas' success with tight ends. He said he's visited a lot of schools, but at Arkansas there's never a play ran that doesn't have a tight end on the field. He's looking for a school that focuses on the TE position, and of course has good academic opportunities. Some are recruiting him as a DE but he says he's strictly a TE.

2019 QB Grant Gunnell said "I was very impressed with yesterday's visit." He enjoyed the practice and spending time with Dan Enos. He said Arkansas stands out because he knows how much time and effort they put into evaluating him as a QB and as a person. He said Enos being a man of faith certainly helps Arkansas' case. He's not going to rush things but hopes to release a top 8 this summer.

2018 DE Jalen Redmond of Midwest City, Ok. will be at Arkansas' spring game. He visited last fall and said "I fell in love with the stadium and the fans." He said he likes the OLB position and that's where the Hogs want him.

2018 OL Nigel Brannon of Oklahoma City is a house. He said he's been talking to Coach Anderson and will be at the Hogs' OL/DL camp on June 18. TCU is his only big offer right now. He said he's looking for a great OL coach in college.

2019 WR Jalen Curry, who was offered after his visit yesterday, said he'll visit the Hogs again. He expected Arkansas to be "all country" but was pleasantly surprised with what he saw. He said he and Michael Smith hit it off immediately. Prior to Arkansas offering, he said Auburn, FSU, Oklahoma and LSU were showing the most attention.
