Trey or Danny can correct me but I've got 69 scholarship players for next year which would leave us able to sign 16. It seems the staff is looking to sign closer to 25 which means 9 will need to be processed. Out of this list of 12 who do you all think is out?

QB- Ty Story and Ricky Town
RB- Damon Mitchell and Day
TE- Jack Kraus, Will Gragg, and Jamario Bell
DE- Daytrieon Dean
DT- Armon Watts
LB- Josh Harris
CB- Nate Dalton
S- Reid Miller

Personally, I don't think Story or Town will ever play over Kelley. With Hyatt and Noland coming in over the next two years that will spread out the QB situation a little bit.

RB- Mitchell has been a pleasant surprise on kickoff coverage hitting people. Not sure he could move Coley, Ramirez, or Liddell at safety but his only other option is at WR and we'll be thin there experience wise next year. Day is never going to get any significant PT.

TE- this is seriously a jumbled mess. Right now we've got a junior and 5 sophomores. 4 of which are redshirts. Something has to give here especially if they bring in Patton.

DE- Dean still has a chance and there isn't a lot of talent at the position, but it's concerning he isn't getting PT over Roesler or Beanum.

DT- Watts also still has a chance but will be a RS Jr. this coming year with very little PT.

LB- I through Josh Harris in here but I'm not really sure he's even on scholly. The numbers are starting to balance out at LB'er but we're still predominantly using the nickel package. I like Harris on special teams but with all the young guys I've got to believe his PT is limited.

DB- Dalton is at a position of need. Unsure of how highly he is thought of but would guess he's one they would want to stick around. I know Miller was a walk-on but he did see some PT yesterday. Wasn't sure if he was on scholly or not but I would hope we could find some better talent to fill in at safety.
