I didn't know Miss. State was his alma mater and is from Jackson, Miss. He had the top level job in his profession at his alma mater and left for Florida. Not a situation where 'well I didn't get along with the AD b/c he was the man in charge. Don't like that, don't like that at all.
Can you imagine going to the UA, cheering on the UA, going into athletic administration, rising through the ranks, finally getting the Arkansas job - your alma mater and the team you grew up cheering for - and then leaving for LSU or Auburn at your own behest after six years?
