Several things we learned today ...

1. We are not a running team. O-line has regressed, AC is hesitant, does not get north-and-south soon enough, and is light in the pants. Walker was used incorrectly today, but let's face it, he does not look like a feature back. Rawleigh has looked good to me, but did not get enough run today.

2. Brandon Allen can NOT win a game for us. Not one of the money balls in the red zone in the 2nd half was close today. Not one. BA's not the reason we lost, but he has shown time and time again that he is not clutch when we need him to be. I thought he'd turn a corner in that regard this year, but if he couldn't do it against Toledo, how in the hell can we count on him to get it done against anybody else on our schedule?

3. Defense simply did not make plays today. No pressure on the QB, and the middle of the field was wide open all game long.

4. Special teams are horrendous. Yes, we blocked a FG, but we missed one, botched a punt that led to a TD, and our KR game is anemic.

5. Play-calling, clock management, time-out management -- it all felt like HDN in the 2nd half, didn't it?

6. We don't get home-cookin' like the Bama's, Auburn's, and Florida's of the world. In fact, we got hosed on several calls / non-calls.
