Just saw where Shawn Robinson received an Alabama offer today. Shawn is a 6'2, 200 lb. QB who is at Denton Guyer and he's only a Soph. He played with my son here at Chisholm Trail High School in Saginaw last year and started as a freshman before his dad took a coaching job as an assistant at Guyer last Spring so he was there just in time for Spring Practice and all their scrimmages. He beat out a QB that was expected to be all world after moving in from California and to show you how good Shawn is he was offered by Nebraska after the first full blown scrimmage. Shawn runs a legitimate 4.4 forty and has a rocket for an arm! He's surrounded at Guyer by a bunch of talented players and it'd be nice to see Arkansas getting involved with Guyer and make some inroads because that school and Allen High School are powerhouse programs in the 6A classification here in Texas and are loaded with talent. Chisholm Trail is a 5A team with 2,000 students so it gives you an idea of how big Guyer and Allen are. Lots and lots of talent here in North Texas and Arkansas needs to get some of it!
