Arkansas is one of the best teams in the country at getting to the line; 4th, actually, with a ratio of .484 FTA per FGA. However, the teams desire to drive and take a difficult two - which usually ends up with a guard on the ground - has caused a lot of run-outs given a slow post is under the basket somewhat attempting an OR and the guard is more often than not on the ground. Therefore, you've effectively created a 3 on 4/5 transition.

This offense gets points as we've seen - 1.4 PPP against UNCW - but is it sustainable vs. better teams?

Bring in the three point shot.

Arkansas right now has 4 of 8 main rotation pieces hitting >40% from the 3 pt line (Brazile, Lawson, Mark, Battle). In the three losses that were not about effort - Memphis, UNC, & OU - those 4 guys attempted a combined 27 threes, with Battle taking 11 of them. Would it help out the team if those guys started taking more shots?

Arkansas post players are terrible at OR rebounding, but it's generally easier to get a long OR as the guards/wings become more involved. Could Arkansas create more offense via jumpshots and actually help out the defense? Just thoughts as we're a few days out from a big game.
