Great road win last night against a very similar program last night right now. At this point, going bowling and getting to 4-4 in the SEC would be a good accomplishment and keep us on track towards building our program. We should be better year 3? Sure but stuff happens. Losing J Will then Kody immediately, then Hatcher, Cornelius and Hollister are tough to adjust off of on the go. Our depth wasn't strong enough to cover that though we are getting better at those positions in games. We CAN clearly have a chance to beat AU, MSU, and Mizzou. UT Martin is a certainty. Bama, Ole Miss and LSU Look like rough road games. At this point last year, I wouldn't have thought we would go 2-1 vs them though.
I like what Enos has brought to our offense. Our passing game looks much more competent than last year and our running game looks tough again. Smith's defense is showing flashes of being good enough to turn around the season too. We could still go 3-9 but I think we win 5 or 6 and I sure hope 6. I hope 9-3 actually but the early stumbles make that nearly impossible. Losing last night would have ended all hope but we now have a chance to settle and go to a bowl by winning our remaining home games. I did not expect 10-2 like so many but I did think 7-5 or 8-4. Oh well, stuff happens! Let's finish strong and recruit! ghg
