Again, having trouble putting the story in our system so it'll be posted here for now:
Bret Bielema and the Razorbacks are still searching for big-time wide receivers, and they had one of the nation’s best on campus Thursday when Houston (Texas) Westfield’s Tyrie Cleveland made a trip to Fayetteville.
Cleveland, 6-3, 180, said the unofficial visit went well enough for Arkansas to receive one of his five official visits later this fall.
“That’s true, I decided I’ll be back for an official visit,” Cleveland said on his way home to Houston. “I just know that Arkansas is the only one for sure, right now.”
The four-star wide receiver spent most of his time touring the campus and getting one-on-one visits with different members of Arkansas’ football staff.
“It was good,” he said. “I enjoyed everything about it and had a great time getting to know everybody. I had a good time with the coaches and players and everything.
“The facilities and probably the coaching staff (were the highlights). I like how they’re honest with you. That’s a couple of things that stood out more than anything.”
Last month, Cleveland released a top ten that included Arkansas, Texas A&M, Florida, TCU, Baylor, Arizona State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Alabama and Houston.
Cleveland is a Rivals250 member as the No. 235 overall prospect in the Class of 2016. Rivals.com also ranks him as the No. 32 prospect in the state of Texas.
