Men are off. Women are at College Station.
Random stuff. Evidently, this year marks the first year where track has an early and a late signing period. We signed the #1 HS long jumper and #1 JUCO long jumper early. The JUCO is enrolled and competing for us currently. The late signing period begins in April. Here's a look at our new horizontal jumpers.

Speaking of horizontal jumpers, World long jump leader, Jarrion Lawson, is still on the Bowerman watch list. It's a very long season, but if he can pull an upset in the sprints, he could well finish second to Ed Chesereck, cause there's no way he's losing.

Couple of other interesting notes. Former Cal/Detroit Lion RB, Jahvid Best, retired from football due to concussion and is training for sprints.

Marquis Goodwin (WR, Bills) is training for the Olympics in the long jump, which may affect his football season.

It's reasonable to expect, considering the concerns around concussion, that some of the elite athletes of the future who choose against football could end up on the track.
Here's a little article on what AR legend Mike Conley has been up to lately. Thought it was interesting.

Sandi Morris is having a solid pro rookie year, going north of 15'5" already. She certainly seems to be in good form.
