Kenzo Cotton and Jarrion Lawson went off last night in the 60m, both running 6.64s. That places them 4th in the nation, 1st in the SEC and already beyond last year's NCAA cutoff mark. That is remarkable for a season opener. Some other nice performances but nothing terribly significant beyond having to begin to get accommodated to mile times instead of 1500m times. One newcomer to watch is Obi Igbokwe. Texan Freshman ran 21.2 at 200m last night.
