The Arkansas Razorbacks football team held their 12th practice of the spring schedule on Tuesday and the media was let in to view a portion of the action.

Below are takeaways from coverage drills, team drills, depth charts from the team portion, highlights and other tidbits from Tuesday's practice.

Notes/Tidbits

~ The team practiced on the outdoor fields and ran through just one team period during the media viewing. They were in spiders today — shoulder pads and shorts.

~ Bowling Green transfer Tyrone Broden didn't have his leg wrapped up for the first time since injuring his MCL in a practice prior to spring break. He still doesn't seem to be a full participant, but not having his leg wrapped is a good sign.

~ During the team period, Isaac TeSlaa had another one-handed catch while running out of bounds. His one-hander on Saturday came against Lorando "Snaxx" Johnson, and the one Tuesday was against Dwight McGlothern.

~ The offense continues to run a lot of different personnel sets, which makes it hard to keep up with subs for the depth chart. It seems like they really like 12 personnel and that paired with 11 personnel are the two most common.

~ Luke Hasz has been splitting out into the slot a couple of times. On Tuesday, he started on the edge of the line and motioned out to the slot before running a crossing route.
~ Some other highlights from the team period included a very nice pass breakup from Snaxx Johnson against Isaiah Sategna, an Andrew Armstrong touchdown and a really pretty touchdown pass from Malachi Singleton to Chris Harris.

~ Patrick Kutas seems like he's here to stay at right tackle, while the right guard spot continues to change. Ty'Kieast Crawford worked with the 1s at right guard and also moved to right tackle with the 2s at one point. The battle seems to be primarily between Joshua Braun and Crawford.

~ The Hogs worked punt team for around 10 minutes and the punters struggled. Max Fletcher was shanked a few kicks and was vocally frustrated with himself, while walk-on Owen Lawson shanked two kicks over the wall and out on the Razorback Road side.

Two-on-three coverage drills highlights

The Hogs did some two wide receivers on three defensive backs coverage drills with quarterbacks rotating in and out. Below are some of the highlights:

~ Malachi Singleton threw a really nice ball that was perfectly placed in the back corner of the end zone for Andrew Armstrong.

~ Isaiah Sategna put a really nice juke move on Jaylen Lewis out of the slot, caught the ball on a slant and took it for a touchdown.

~ Isaac TeSlaa caught a touchdown after beating double coverage.

~ Sam Mbake had arguably the most impressive play of the day when he jumped over Jaylon Braxton, caught the ball and managed to get both feet in bounds for a touchdown.

~ Jayden Johnson, Dwight McGlothern and TJ Metcalf all had pass breakups, and McGlothern also dropped an interception.

~ Andrew Armstrong dropped a touchdown pass over the middle from KJ Jefferson.
