Anybody that has ever been on a blind date knows the crazy anticipation you can have.....the way you can be a little afraid you might be disappointed but for the most part, in your mind,, you build up (in my case as a guy) this girl you are soon to meet to be the most wonderful gal in the world.
.......She will be so beautiful and kind and she will just act like she is blessed to just get to go out with you. One minute she is a tall blonde then the next, she is a short dark haired cheerleader,
...It is crazy what your mind can do and it is never fair to the real girl because NOBODY could live up to the DREAM date you have imagined her to be.
I say this because I have seen the same reaction to the MYSTERY visitor. Many fans KNEW not to do it but they could not help themselves. They had this SECRET visitor made up to be a 5 star super star that Alabama and Ohio St were in a death match over.
Shame that many are let down by a recruit that many very good schools would love to have, a super athlete that could play in the SEC. Instead of being amazed at the ALL STAR lineup of guess we knew about visiting, several spent their day chasing after this double top secret recruit that they just knew was better than anybody else visiting and was begging to commit to the Hogs
