The problem with Pittman's departure was not

that he decided to leave. In my view it was WHEN he decided to leave. I believe very strongly just watching how things unfolded that Pittman had decided he wanted out long before Kirby Smart called. And well before he told CBB. I think he took his foot off the gas pedal in recruiting which killed us. And I don't think he was at his best coaching his position. Those guys can read the tea leaves pretty well and get backdoor information so he probably knew who would be calling and about when. Admittedly Pittman's track record is clearly as a mercenary vagabond coach. We basically bribed him to stay when AL came knocking. Guess no one should be surprised but he screwed us over,
