For as long as I can remember I've always started my day with a cup of coffee and some talk show radio. I've moved around a lot and have heard many different segments all of which I had no qualms or complaints about. You talk sports, you talk life, you talk current events, and you do it fluidly and respectfully. I have been in Little Rock for nearly a year now and have turned to 103.7 as my morning kickstart. However, I have chosen from here on out to listen to nothing instead of the guys on that show.

To start, I had to listen to the most painful segment this morning talking about race. A gentleman called in talking about his relationship for 30+ years to an African American woman. The guy was proud of his relationship and then one of the hosts curiously asked if she likes to be called a Black girl or African American. The gentleman returns and says, "Well, I typically don't call her anything outside of honey or sweetheart, but I'm sure if you say it respectfully she wouldn't mind either." One of the hosts returns, "So she wouldn't care if I came up to her and said 'HEY WHATS GOING ON BLACK GIRL?' " It immediately got awkward and the host knew it was downright inappropriate and had to apologize.

This is just one of of many instances, where you question, how in the hell do these guys keep their job, or even get it in the first place? On top of the fact that they just don't know a damn thing about anything. Hogs sports.... not a clue. NFL/MLB/Everything.... not a clue. On top of this I have to listen to them stutter their life away for all of it. It is RADIO! Speak fluently, speak intelligently, thats it.

If I had to listen to the show with no name every morning I would probably jump off a cliff.
If that's entertainment, uhhh.

Different strokes for different folks.

Jeeez yeah there is No way I could start my day off with that show. It's 4 people constantly talking about nothing all at the same time. I'd rather listen to my girlfriend complain about work all day than hear the sound of Tommy Smith's voice

What station is Bo on now in West Little Rock? Believe it was 93.3 or something at one time, but can't ever seem to get a clear reception. Is the best way to download an app?

That entire station is pure garbage outside of a few segments. Obviously Trey calling in, and a few others.

I was in Little Rock earlier this week. At one point, Tuesday afternoon, Marcus and Randy had no idea that Denver Kirkland had signed with the Raiders. Every time I'm home or in Arkansas on business I'll turn it on to 103.7 just to get my Arkansas/Hogs/Little Rock fix but it's typically horrible. Especially that morning show - Tommy hasn't been good since about 1997 and Bazzel is clueless.

It really is terrible. None of them make any effort at all to keep up with razorback news,'which seems like it should be a big part of their job. The Kirkland to raiders thing is a perfect example.

The swnn is at times entertaining. You just have to understand you're not gonna get sports talk 24/7. I think pat Bradley is fun to listen to on the mid day show. Now dts and trey schaps show are a different story. Those two shows are awful. Matt jones is terrible on the radio. Most of the time he has no idea what's going on. He even made the comment a while back that being head coach at bentonville high was a better job than being a position coach for the Razorbacks.

I guess I'm kinda different...as I kinda enjoy the morning show for the most part, and all the different topics they cover....and the guys like Stoerner, Herm Edwards, etc. they have call in each week during the football season. But when Tommy is no longer on the air I'll probably quit listening...cause when he's not there, Bazzell seems like he's popped 10 bottles of 5-Hour Energy....Smith slows Bazzell/the show down to a manageble pace...and a just little bit of Roger Scott can go a LONG WAYS. RJ Hawk is pretty cool....

As for DTS...I loved it years ago...But outside of Trey's segment, it's incredibly PAINFUL to listen to anymore. They need to add Danny West each day at some point, and try to add some new blood, that actually keeps up with sports and keeps it interesting. Having special guest and callers like Bo does on his show wouldn't hurt a thing either.

I live in central AR and have quit listening to Buzz Radio about a year go. I start the morning off with the Morning Rush, which is one of my favorite sports talks shows. I like what Tyler Wilson brings to the table (much better than Matt Jones). Tommy always has a business view of everything which is insightful and Derek holds the show down and has some good opinions. And then it's Bo in the evenings, always a good program.

I think Tommy stutters and stammers more since he's gotten himself clean, which gets annoying. Still an entertaining show a lot of the time though, especially when Roger says something off color and they all tie into it. They'll be the first to say they're not a "sports" show. If I don't like something...I turn the station.

As for the 2 afternoon sports shows? Yeesh! Turrible. Schaap is one of those captain obvious goobers and MJ = zero show prep. DTS? Rest home radio.

This. 93.3 changed its format and went to gospel. I can't find Bo anywhere. Anyone know?

It is more accurately referred to as The Show With No Point. Pretty lame radio.

Yeah I think I'm going to make tomorrow my last day. I'm gonna get on the air and rip those guys apart. Tell Tommy to hit the bottle again, and the rest to quit.

Quit listening to the Buzz years ago.

On my way to work, I listen to the Morning Rush. On my way home, I listen to Bo. Very happy with that routine.
I quite listening to that whining, pot stirring Derek Ruscin years ago. I cannot hardly stand to hear his voice. Is he still doing Ruscin's Rants - infuriating radio.

I always update @hillishog with the ridiculous crap I hear on 103.7 (usually drive time). I wish I had a list of all of it. Pretty comical.

I'm not just a huge fan of Derek and Tommy, but at least they're talking about the Razorbacks. I'd rather listen to a couple of dorks discuss the Hogs than listen to Tommy Smith's rehab story every day on my way to work.

I don't see how the owner of that station, can listen to RR or RS and think to himself "Now that, is good radio"
Every now and then, I get lucky and ill catch Dwest or Biddy on the radio, with some real Hog info.

SWNN is terrible with everybody talking over each other. My least favorite is Tommy talking about his wonderful recovery and then talk about how great is non sober times were.
Matt Jones is clueless, I do like Trey Schaap.

I listen to Trey Biddy and get aggravated when they let callers on for BS and take up treys time.

Satellite radio is my go to. I switch to Bo occasionally, but mostly satellite.

NPR is the way to go, bumpkins.
